This is a quick project I've started this year.

It's Aoshima's Nissan Silvia Spec. R (S15) kit built almost SOOTB.

Here are some photos of what has been done this last couple of days:

I hope you like it.

Nice colour choice...but looks like you've got some serious orange peel. What colour is that btw? Looks a little bit candy-like. Glad to see more S15's amongst all the GTR's

Yes, there is a lot of Orange peel! I still need to give it another clear coat. Then it will be the usual sanding and polishing to get a nicer shine!

The color is a mix of a cheap iridencent nail polish (that I "borrowed" from a girlfriend) and a bit of Mr. Color Clear blue and Clear Red, applied over a silver base coat.

This weekend I've worked on the interior. After some problems with the primer (latter resulting in having to do lots of touch ups) here is the result:

While pulling out all the masking done on the seats and other parts, some portions of the paint were pulled off. I had to do many touch ups but in some places, the messed up paint job is still very noticeable, even under all the paint.

Wow the interior looks flawless, i can't tell where you pulled off the paint. Keep it going.

The carpets were made using the technic you can find on the tutorial section (alternative way to flock interiors). I use it to make the carpets and paint them because I don't have dark gray flock (I'm using flock originally intended for creating foliage on model trees, but under some paint it looks ok and have a rougher texture than "auto" flock which I think is ok for the texture of carpets).

Here are some photos of the (more or less) completed model (I'm still trying to minimize some of the orange peel):

Definitely lower the rear, it looks a bit wrong to me. Maybe also because the wheels don't seem to sit flush with the body (which btw, apart from the orange peel, is gorgeous!). I love what you've done with everything else but for some reason it's just the wheels that look odd. I also like the slight weathering you've done on the chassis.

Wow, to me the wheels look fine. I really love the heat shield below the muffler, and the weathering. This almost looks finished, you know we have a completed section, get that beast in there.
