Hi everyone I've been visiting this page since one year. But I was to lazy to join. Now I fianally got myself through to creat an account and share some of my work with you. I haven't got the best skills but I think that I've got enough time and will to practice. And with your criticism I should be able to get better by the time.:smooch: So please tell me what you think even if it isn't that nice.

the f 430 has been the first car I've been painting in "3d"

I've also started to develop some concept cars. This one isn't finished yet. Ididn't have the time to colour it. It's an Mitsubishi Galant

That Polo is my last work. I've finished it just yesterday. When I've got my drivers licence this will be my first car. But it's silver and just has got 75 hp. so I've made up my mind and developed a tuning kit and a new colour for it. But unfortunately these parts do not exist but even if they would do. No money. No chance. :(

It would be nice if someone of you could tell me how I'm able to show you the images directly without showing the link.

I'm pretty new too, and I've noticed that not a lot of people will comment my work for some reason. It's mostly people who have established friends here that comment eachother's work. However, there are a few elders who take the time to try to pass down their knowledge which is much appreciated. So, with my experience here, I thought I'd welcome you to the boards. Your work with inks is very good. Your proportions could use a bit of work, however. They don't all look as the eye would see them, but that takes a lot of time. Your work will progress, as mine has since joining here.

To get pictures to show up just go to the advanced editor. You will see a Microsoft Office type of format and you will need to click the yellow button with mountains on it, rather than the blue Earth button, which I will assume is what you clicked. All you do is parse the link into the popup and your picture will show up. :-) *G*

welcome eleanor91

Your work is pretty good. Try to post the pics in your thread instead of links. It's easier to view like that.

It is very very slow up here compared to where it used to be. Nobody gets a lot of comments but people are watching. I would encourage folks to step up and comment more. Even the little things lets people trying to get better (which is all of us) know that #1 they don't suck (even if folks like me feel that we do) and #2 and most importantly, the togetherness that is forged through sharing allows everyone to grow.

This does not have to be a "that's nice" to every post board and it doesn't need to be a harsh "hurtful" criticism board either, but what kills the growth environment more than anything is the flat out ignoring that goes on.

So...people...ask some questions, post some links, share some thoughts, post some art. It's time to put this board back in play before people just bail.

sorry for the hijack...that's how I roll...apparently :)

I've tried to do what you and model_citizen told me to do. But when I add the address and press there appear only some red crosses inspite of the pictures

Hi there. Willkommen im Forum!

I like your drawings, you got potential. Take a look at ellipses, circles in perspective, google for it and take a closer look. That's one thing you have to learn once and will improve your drawing skills drastically. Besides that, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your stuff. How old are you now?

And yeah, unfortunately there are not so many people around here lately as we would wish to have, I guess. But even if there are only a few comments, you can be sure that the most of them are high quality because we got some great artists around here.

Btw: That car is a great choice. I've got one too and it's all you need for a first car. It's cheap, safe, durable and reliable. Mine has 60 hp which is totally enough for 80% of it's use.

Gruß

Robin

oh and check out imageshack.us! upload your pic and choose "Hotlink for forums". Post this link directly into the AF answer box. But please resize your images to 800x600 or 1024x768 so that the few viewers around here don't have to scroll...

No I clicked on the links.

lemorris... I really have to apologize for not telling my real name though I'm hanging around here for over four years now, that is very impersonal i realize now. I thought I had mentioned it a few times already. My name is Robin Ritter, and Ritter means "knight".
