Hello,

I'm putting vacuum brakes on my car using a 95 GP nonABS brake system, but I forgot to trace the brake lines and don't know how to reconnect the brake lines. Can someone label where A,B,C,D brake lines go? Thanks everyone!

Did I ask a stupid question or something? Nobody seems to have any information to share. I've searched around, arg.

No your question is fine but most us probably have ABS systems so any possible replies will be limited or there may be zero. Even the GM factory service manuals don't help much especially if it is non-ABS.

Hopefully someone weighs-in with a similar year Grand Prix and non-abs system.

I'm not sure I understand.

You have a vehicle (unlisted) that you are putting a master cylinder in thats from a 1995 GP? And now your trying to figure out what brake line to hook to where?

I can tell you this much, its a diagnal split system, so the left front and right rear will go to one proportioning valve, and the right front and left rear will go to the other. If that makes sense.

I will see if I can find out some info for you.

Yeah I have a 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme that has the powermaster III, which croaked, so I read how other guys are swapping in vacuum boosters from other w-body cars, so I found a nice setup off a 95 GP.

I'm actually all done with the installation of the vacuum booster and I'm going to do the diagonal setup as you mentioned, I did read somewhere else about that, but it's nice to hear it from someone. I'm getting ready to bleed to the system too.

Thanks for the followup! Don't spend too much time on the details of the system since I now know that it's diaganol now.
