Help with Cobalt!

Hello, I bought a 2005 Chevy Cobalt, it's my first car and just got it a few weeks ago. I live in the mountains in Vermont, and this morning it went down to 10 below. I tried to start it and it wouldn't start, I just heard a clicking sound. My dash had a yellow engine symbol showing, does anyone have any advice on what this could mean, or if it could just be a dead battery that needs a jump start. I didn't have a very good experience with the car salesman, and I just hope it's nothing too serious.

it sounds like a dead battery i would try jumping it check battery fluid level and check terminals also i personally would get a battery with more cold cranking amps especially in vermont.

replace or recharge the battery. check your map lights you may have 2 mounted on your rear view mirror. in the day its hard to see them. thats just enough to kill the battery. as was the case 7 days ago on my son's 06 cobalt ss s/c the we brought home. with a good recharge it,s good.
