i am looking for a history lessons on the whole import performance scene,a web site or a knowlegable (i think thats how its spelled) member,someone who knows their stuff.

i have a speech to give on:

how to make your civiv fast?

and how people started modifying imports /civics?

and why the civic was chosen as the car to modify by people ?

any help is appericiated

it's not just the civic, people have been modifing cars for yrs. the civic was a cheap affordable ride. after people figured out that you could make a civic not only fast but, also having many diffrent choices of motors and ecu's etc.. i would say that is when the revoloution began.
