Hi Everyone!

I was replacing the LIM gasket on a 1991 Buick Park Avenue Ultra (non-supercharged) with 150k miles due to major coolant loss. The passenger-side lower intake manifold has a metal pipe going towards the heater core connected to it. I removed the LIM together with the pipe and replaced the gasket (the LIM gasket had a penny-sized hole in it). However, there is a small screw that secures the metal pipe to the LIM that I seem to have dropped somewhere and I'm unable to find... Does anyone know the size of this screw or do I just go to the hardware store and keep trying until I find something that fits and works? Also, out of curiosity, can the metal pipe be removed from the LIM, does it have some kind of a O-ring type seal that holds it in?

Never mind on this one. I found the specs on the screw. They are M6x1x12, 10thd, 11.6, O.D., HDR PT, 9.8. Everything worked fine after replacing the lower intake manifold gasket by the way. Took 3 days while working in the garage at low temperatures and with various problems that came up along the way. Ended up replacing the following: 3 fuel injectors, thermostat, pcv valve, upper and lower radiator houses, lower intake manifold bypass hose, throttle body gasket, oil, oil filter, coolant, etc. I wouldn't suggest doing this in the winter :-) but I had no choice.
