1984 Pontiac 2M4 passenger side headlightLF SCOUT 13 12-16-2008, 10:53 PM Hi, my Name is Eric, So today, my right (passengerside) headlight would not flip open. This may have been due to freezing, I am not sure. The problem is that I twisted the manual control knob. Following that the lights worked fine except that the motor to the passenger side light would not turn off. I ended up disconnecting the motor, but have no idea what to do from here. Any Advice? does anyone know what I should do? thanks for your time, Eric Old Lar 12-18-2008, 12:05 PM There are rebuild kits avaialable for the series I headlight motors. The 87 &88 kits are about $10 but those are series II. The rebuild job isn't too hard, You'll just remove the headlight bucket and over haul the motor. From the How To stickey link: http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Garage/5007/fiero_osg/headlights.html cboy2us 12-18-2008, 01:15 PM could be condensation in a relay that froze the contacts. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
