Can a Nissan exceed 120mph?93JimmyOwner 12-15-2008, 12:52 PM Just read the following news article (below) from TBO.COM, about police chasing a woman in a silver Nissan four door. The article states: "The Nissan reached speeds of more than 120 mph." Just curious. Does Nissan make a street-ready vehicle that can reach 120+ mph? http://www2.tbo.com/content/2008/dec/14/142210/troopers-say-woman-crashed-after-refusing-pull-ove/ Broke_as_**** 12-16-2008, 01:32 AM The aerodynamic (coefficient of drag) and horsepower requirements to hit 120 mph are lower than you might think. Just about anything more than a sub-compact with an economy tuned sub-2.0 liter motor should be able to do 120. A Maxima (from the article) of just about any year would be able to do that. Most cars on the road can hit 120.
