How hard is it to change an 86 accord from an automatic, to a manual transmission? I have an 86 Accord LXI with an automatic transmisssion that is slipping. The automantic transmissions are hard to find. It is about the same money or cheaper to buy a whole car with a manual transmission. An auto transmission is $350, and I can buy a whole car with a manual transmission for $200. I prefer the manual transmission anyway. I have done this in other cars, but I don't know what is involved in doing it on an 86 accord. Is there a web site that has this process documented?
