Ignition problems

I have a 1984 Z28 Camaro with a 305 5.0L H.O. down in it. I've had the Camaro for some time now and lately it just wont start. The problem is that there is no spark being created through the ditributor. I've completely rebuilt the distributor, the starter passed the test down at autozone, I know that there is power getting to the distributor but all the engine is doing is turning over but not firing. Any clue whats going on here or am I just $4!+ out of luck. Any help is appreciated.

What brand of module? Anything other than Ac Delco is a waste of money and could still be the problem.

It was an AC Delco. Bought it down at auto zone, its the only type of coil their system had for the engine type. Now let me ask you this, if the Capacitor is bad could that keep it from throwing a spark?

No, that capacitor is the Tach filter
