96 accord oil light flashing

i have a 96 accord 2.7 v6. The car ran great but smoked a little i took it to the mechanic and he changed the valve cover gaskets and the oil. 300 later and the oil light flashed constantly. I took it back to the mechanic he changed the oul pressure sensor and the oil again he says its fine but the damn light still flashes any help please i love my honda and must driv it again.:banghead:

An flashing oil light could be caused by three things; a bad sensor switch, a shorted wire on the sensor switch or low oil pressure. If it is the later, that is a bad sign. Does the light flash only at idle or even at higher engine speeds? In either case it is not good. You can disconnect the wiring at the switch to see if the problem goes away. If it doesn't then you know where to look.
