Center dash buttons pushed in

I just bought a 00 LS and love it. The problem is that the center dash area has a set of buttons that are pushed into the dash. It is this set:

How do i get in there to get it back?

Disregard i figured it out.:iceslolan mine has the same problem does that panel come off and how did you get it off every time i try to remove it sounds like it's going to brake any advice would be helpfull thanks:iceslolan

That upper center dash panel just pulls out. Pull from the sides if at all possible. IIRC, the service manual recommends using hooks to hook the sides and pull evening on both sides.

Okay if you just stick a small screwdriver in the sides, lower portion, and push the driver outward on both sides the panel pops out.

Okay if you just stick a small screwdriver in the sides, lower portion, and push the driver outward on both sides the panel pops out.:crying: i did try pulling it out as even as i could but it sounds like it's going to brake and it looks like the vent's want to come with it i don't know if it's stuck or what the problem is you wouldent happen to have a part number for the panel so when it does brake it have an extra one thanks:crying:

The vents should come out with it.
