hey everyone, I recently ordered a Primera badge from henry perez and I noticed that it has a black border. Anyone know what the difference between this one and the completely chrome ones are, maybe they are from different year primeras?

the difference it the black surround on the P11 badge. but the P11 is definately nicer, because the black edge helps it stand out. Dont worry cos its the nicer one and youve got a good bargain.

Anyway, how is Henry, i aint heard from him in ages??

i dont really know him that well but i hear hes working a lot.
So the all chrome is the p10, and the black surrounds the p11? nice, should fit niceley on my p11

yep, it sounds about right. All i know is that its on the P11 Primeras and the ones built after that.

NO!
The P10 font is not italic. All italic "Primera"-s come from P11.

Never seen them with black around them before.

the all-chrome one is from the p11-144, and the black border-one is from the regular p11.. all p11's have italic badges


so the badge on the picture is from a regular p11...

The badge without the black surround comes from the latest
primera (the P11 144 or 2000) model

you know what, mines a P11 too but has the black surround style badge.

I dont think this line of questioning is working, it seems that we all have different styles on the same car.

looks like either they are from the uk gt version or they just mix n' match

Here are my thoughts:

Nissan stuck whatever badges (and clear or amber taillights) they had at a time. Or felt like putting on the car. They did not think it would matter much. And they were right. But I don't have any badges on the back of the car anyway, so what would I kmow... :D :cool:

I think UK get's the chrome/black badges on the p11. Any other P11 owner outside UK have this badges on his car (originally there)?

Mine is a P11, I got the chrome badge.

To the best of my knowledge, ALL UK (and probably European too) P11 Primera's come with the chrome with back background style badges. Not just the GT's...

Not entirely sure about the P10 and P11-144 though - I'll have a look tonight.

ok mine has black border round it to, although the border around the primera is not that noticeable unless you're looking at it real close.....

the all chrome one I've seen (on the p11-144 that is) is a bit smaller than the one you pictured...
so is yours a dealer/country specific or something. also: is your GT badge also all(only)-chrome?

altough I think no badges at all, is the shiznit, the all-chrome ones are nicer on your luxury car,
black-border ones on you racer...


so this is how it is then?:

p10 is not italic,
p11 is italic, blackborder or not
p11-144 is all chrome, but a tad smaller than p11
