I have a 2003 Camry with 85000 miles, that developed a rattling noise under the hood. Toyota says its a loose something or other in the Intake Manifold. Cost to repair $600. There is a service bulletine for it, but Toyota says only if the car is still within warranty, which its not. They also say it will not bother the car the way it is. If thats the case, I might just live with it. Is anyone familiar with this problem? Will it not damage the car to leave it alone? TIA

There hasn't been anyone on this forum say that this has done anything except make noise.
