97 lumina/monte carlo po141 o2 sensor???Boneyard 11-23-2008, 01:09 AM I recently purchased a 97 monte carlo with a 3.1L engine for a winter car. when i first got it it had a code that was egr. i fixed the egr, that car sat for a couple of weeks, and now i keep getting a po141 o2 sensor heater circuit malfunction bank1 sensor 2. what does this mean? could the two thing be related? where is bank 1 sensor 2? HELP!!!! Scrapper 11-23-2008, 01:36 AM o-2 senor is not that hard of a job.the 0-2's and there usuly are in front of cat. maxwedge 11-23-2008, 04:08 PM Sensor 2 is after the cat. Boneyard 11-23-2008, 05:56 PM besides a bad sensor, would there be any other reason for this code to activate? Like would a plugged converter make this happen? someone told me that because I had a previous egr valve code and now a o2 code that could be because of a plugged converter. maxwedge 11-24-2008, 09:27 AM No, the this is the code for the heater circuit portion of the o2 sensor function, check the fuses first of course and the harness to the sensor. Boneyard 11-25-2008, 12:53 AM what fuse would I check for an o2 sensor? maxwedge 11-25-2008, 11:04 AM Check the wiring diagrams at autozone.com, repair guides. Boneyard 12-08-2008, 09:21 PM i erased the code and probably drove it about 300 miles before it came back on. now it also has an egr insufficient flow code on too-which i had previously replaced the egr valve. are these two codes related to some other problem? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
