Finally found my coolant leak. Now how do I repair.Hoses are crimped.Should I just cuttoff crimp and install some 5/8 hose? How far in the car does the rubber hose go in?Scared to ask dealer, they just charged me 7.50 for the bleeder valve o-ring  .Still hard to sit.

which heater hose is leaking? usually it is the straight one that comes off the black metal tube that runs under the throttle. the factory crimp that holds the heater hose on the quick-connect can be peeled off. take a pair of snips or diagonal pliers and start at the hose side and snip it and twist it like opening an old spam can with the key. once you have the crimp off twist the hose and pull it off the quick-connect. you will see a nipple on the end of the quick-connect. you can use a #10 hose clamp and a new piece of 5/8s heater hose. the quick -connects are big enough that you can squeeze the white tabs and get it to pop loose. the dealer asked me $210.00 for a quick-connect and 8" of 5/8s hose. i fixed mine for $2.00. let me know which hose it is.

if the hose is rubber it can be fixed as decribed just use longer hose.
