ZC starting problem

11-20-2008, 09:47 PM
I have an '89 CRX SI with a DOHC ZC swap. When I started having problems, I would slightly depress the gas pedal and it would "choke up" or "cut out" and sometimes die and then wouldn't start. A few days later it wouldn't start. Turns over, but no fire. I've got fuel at the firewall. Got spark. Bought a new TPS that I'm gonna install in the next day or two.

I looked at my timing marks with #1 @ TDC and they are off. My question is, are they off enough that the car wouldn't even fire at all? ( (

This is the crank pulley. It has two sets of marks. On the left, there are 3 marks. The middle is red. To the right of those is one single mark. ( ( ( (

I kinda posted this in a hurry. Any ideas and/or help would be great.
