question

i just bought a 93 protege with the 1.8 single cam and 5 speed manual,it runs perfectly fine,except when it points up a hill when the engines hot,i'll shut it off,come back out and it refuse to start unless i keep feathering the gas,has anyone had a similar problem on a protege if so,what fixed it?

I've never heard of this problem before, but I'll give you a guess. I think there may be a problem with your fuel pump or gas tank. If the connection with the top of the pump and the hose is loose, then it may be sucking air when it's tilted going up hill. It may be a loose connection as well. When the coil packs are going out, they tend to work only when the engine is cold. If you can give more information I may be able to come up with a better idea. I'd check your fuel pressure and your spark.
