compass/temp feature

I have a 96 ram 1500 p/u with electric rearview mirror and compass/temp. display feature. will display compass with "OC" but not temp. Any suggestions?

You might check the owners manual. There might also be some info in a Haynes manual available at most chain type auto parts stores.
