Hello. I am trying to install a Sony CD player into my 1999 Chevy Malibu and I am having difficulties matching the colors to one another. The colors are different between the cd player and the car wires. The CD player is a sony xploid. Thanks for any help.

The two color schemes for my car and cd player go accordingly.

Car hookup-
Orange striped--Orange
Green striped--green
yellow
gray striped--gray
blue
black
white striped--white
red
white striped--white(these two have a purplish hue to them)
there are 14 colors all together

CD player
green striped--green
white striped-white
purple striped--purple
black
blue striped-blue
red
gray striped-gray
there are 12 colors all together
