When cold, it does fine, but when it warms up it quits when I let off the accelerator. Changed idle control valve and no improvement. Any ideas on where to go next? discnik 11-13-2008, 03:11 AM Checked your Mass Air Flow Sensor ? I have same problem i need find out where i can fix rsmith8411 04-16-2009, 09:06 PM This post was for a friend's truck. It took me a little time to get with him on the details. He finally punted and took it in to a shop and they told him it was an intake air leak (he thinks it was an o-ring, but the shop wasn't specific). I would check all the vacuum lines and seals on the intake and look for a leak. Good luck. rhandwor 04-17-2009, 08:48 PM You can use carburetor cleaner and spray around injector bases, vacuum lines, and along the edges of the intake. If you hit a leak the engine will smooth out. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
