ses and hesitation

i have a 2003 blazer xtreme with 67000 miles. it has the 4.3. it started when i was accelerating onto the highway then the engine bogged and the check engine light started to flash but stopped after a few minutes. since then, when i try to accelerate quickly from a stop it hesistates but when it gets moving it's fine. also on the highway when i hit about 65-75 the check engine light starts to flash and goes off in a few minutes. i had it scanned and it says a random misfire. Where do i start????

The flashing SES light indicates a misfire is happening. First thing would be to get a scanner on there and see what code(s) are showing up. That will most likly help to point you in the right direction.
