Hello all!

This is my latest WIP, been building it all the dark Finnish autumn! Started it as a "quick build" while waiting door panels to my Ferrari 355, but seems I cannot do anything quickly! It's just a basic Tamiya kit, straight out of box. Painted with Vallejo, Alclad, Zero and Mipa, whatever is handy.

Engine, after painting and decaling:

Engine in the frame, exhaust painted with Alclad chrome:

Basic painting with Zero Giallo Fly + Yellow pearl, the gray is Mipa Gricio Titanico (also Ferrari colors):

Still a long way to go!

Hi Tervo, and nice to see you in this sub-forum! I have this kit started on my bench and it is an interesting bike/kit, love the shapes. I think that engine looks superb and the Ferrari color combo will be stunning. Looking forward to more progress.

Very nice work so far.I like the color combination you have chosen, it will suit the bike very well. The Alclad chrome looks very good, particularly on the exhaust system.Looking forward to seeing this progress, keep the updates coming.

Joel and Steve, thanks for your comments!

Sprayed today the first clear coat before applying decals. I use two component automotive clear (Mipa brand) and finally succeeded also thinning it properly! The lacquer is mixed from two parts of lacquer and one part of hardener (as usual with these kind of paints), and added four parts of thinner to that. The result is, as you can see, except very tiny orange peel, very shiny. It is a shame to cover this again, when the decals are done!

Regards Tervo

Not very much done, spent the whole day with the front wheel bearing of my wife's Citroen! However, managed to decal this beast. Here is a quick preview how she looks now.

Not very much done, been busy with the front forks of this Guzzi. There seems to be zillions of little parts that need painting, masking, painting, clear coating, decaling and again clear coating! The forks are not glued on yet, have to force them straight before final assembly so the bike won't look like after an accident.

Slowly getting to final assembly! Got almost all the little bits and pieces painted, still missing mirrors and the rear mudguard/taillight/register plate assembly. Hope that the next update will be in the "Completed" section!

This is a bad ass bike! You've done a fantastic job so far. Let's see it finished in the near future!
