Help Changing Water Pump On 2003 Eclipsejohncole 11-06-2008, 11:26 AM I have a 2003 eclipse GT that is running hot and the heat is blowing cold air. I changed the thermostat but it didn't help. Ther is no water in the oil and no steam coming from the exaust. There is a noise coming from the area of the water pump so i'm thinking that could be the problem. What do I have to take out to get to the water pump. I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and don't have alot of strength in my hands but can't really afford to have it done. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated:smile:   Sleepr awd 11-14-2008, 09:38 AM Should be tied in with your timing belt system, in which case if you can't do it according to the book, you wont' have a car and you'll be in a bigger craphole than you started out in. If you have it done, have the timing belt done at the same time since it won't be much more work. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
