Nice--for some reason, so far the coloring has a cool hand-painted look to it.

easiest way to explain is:

Instead of doing the l,ineart then selecting areas to fill, I use paths to create the digital equivalent of frisket, then paint.

This is my first one like this, but I enjoy it. I know a guy that does amazing work like this and he's giving me a hand. It's still pretty raw but I think it'll get better.

Thanks. I had thought from your first post, that it was only the line art that was different, not the color fills.

awesome lemorris, there really is a drawn/colored look to it ,the reflections in the wheels look so smooth as if blended with pencil ,looks beautiful :)

Really liking the hand-painted look to this one--any chance that you might do a tutorial video
on this style once you feel comfortable with it?

I'll do what I can.

There's not much to it though. Just airbrush in selections. I many other techniques up here that blow it away, but I started so I might as well finish.

Just like how this has a more hand-painted look, and less digital.
It is really starting to gain depth with the shadow/reflection work.

That's one fine piece of eye candy in the works.
The shading gradients are so subtle, but so very effective in giving the image depth.
