96 Sable No Directionals or Hazard FlasherDadman 10-30-2008, 06:33 PM Hello All.This is my first post (anywhere). The fuse is not blown. I'm pretty sure I found the relay stack but can't seem to find the flasher module. Is there one? Seems strange directionals and hazard failed at the same time. They usually have their own flasher mods. Please help:confused: A wiring diagram would be very cool:grinyes: Thanks Smoke70 12-31-2008, 12:21 PM Having same problem, but I changed the flasher also. Did you get yours fixed. I have a Haynes manual on it. DistanceGuy1 01-01-2009, 08:06 PM 99% of the time these issues are a Multi-function switch problem. An easy change out and not that expensive Smoke70 01-02-2009, 12:55 PM If it were that simple, the problem would be resolved as I have changed the multi function switch and the flasher. Still I get no turn signal or flashers, and no siganl lights come on on the dash either. Usually with a burnt bulb, a light will come on in the dash, it just wont blink. When I turn the headlights on, all the lights come on so I don't think it can be in that switch. Where would I begin the search for current? Electronics is not my thing, but I do try pretty much anything. Thanks. R2D21805 01-14-2009, 12:43 AM Similar issue here too. The front right (grill) light barely lights up, not visible unless you cup your hands over it. The side front 'side' light works fine. The left signal is normal, but when you flip right turn signals, they flash faster than the rest. Originally I was told it was a bulb problem, change it. I did, same problem. Then I was told it is a break in the ground wire somewhere between the light and the switch. That's like trying to find a lost fishing lure in the Mississippi River. :uhoh: Did some tests and found that it is NOT the Multi-function switch. And supposedly you have to be real careful not to blow the airbag if you change one of those out. :eek7: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
