When it gets cold, it will not shift to park. The gearstick will move to the P, but it doesn't actually PARK, it just sits there idling until it warms up. It also refuses to let the key out until then.

Anyone ever heard of this?

You know what. I've had this problem too. I drive a 92 integra, and some times when I park it. It will go in to PARK but the park light wont come on for like a minute. Hmmmm... I wonder what this could be.

I had a similar problem with my 91 Accord.

Take the cover off of the transmission stick (it has drive, park, 1st, 2d on the top)

Once it is off adjust the electronic module under it. Move it slowly back and forth and see if that works. There is a screw there. If that doesn't work you may need to replace this part.

This fixed my problem.

Did what he did and just replaced the screw thing its cheap
