The Grail

This is a great forum. I've searched the posts diligently, but need more help to solve my problem. Bought the car with a dead battery for a great price. Jumped it and drove around town, seemed ok. Got it home and after several months finally got the title and tried to put it on the road. Put in a new battery, and now the speedometer doesn't work and the only forward gear it has is second. I replaced the output speed sensor, disconnected the battery, and checked as many connections and grounds as I could. Still the same. Don't have a scanner, but using the key on-off-on-off-on method, it gives me a code of "66", which I gather has to do with getting communication from any number of modules. Any suggestions? Thanks.

there is bracket of 3 to 4 relays on on drivers side fire wall in front of the break fluid fill.the second one from the left is the trans.relay.30 amp.I found this to be the problem with my 98 sebring . you can tap on this relay and sometimes it will work or you just replace it.
