AzTumbleweed 10-15-2008, 02:48 PM I'd start by jacking the car up and see if the wheels turn freely then look at the tie rod ends. nellybob 10-16-2008, 09:29 AM no its just like if u boot it then ease of just a slight amount it goes the the left checked the wheels this morning and the turn fine the problem happens when going in to high revs then changing gear i did a test yesturday and i drove it took my hands off the wheel and booted it the steering wheel jumped to the left and when i eased off went back again AzTumbleweed 10-16-2008, 09:59 AM How about the tie rod ends? nellybob 10-16-2008, 01:38 PM yes they are fine aswell no play and rubbers arnt torn i can only put it down to the wishbone Airjer_ 10-16-2008, 02:15 PM Are you jaxcking under the control arms? If so find another spot, Under the rockers, and shake it down again. If you have a lower ball joint that is bad it will never show any play with the jack under the control arm! nellybob 10-16-2008, 02:18 PM i never jack under anything like that i only jack on the jacking points mightymoose_22 10-16-2008, 10:31 PM Check where the steering rack mounts to the firewall and be sure that the mounts are tight. I have seen a few cars where the mounts have come loose over time. nellybob 10-17-2008, 05:23 PM tht might be half the problem yeah i never thought of checking there but i will tommoro let u know how i get on vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
