(Looking for a new car) Question about the Kia Sadona

I have a 2002 Ford Windstar, that I got from Carmax, that is coming close to the end of it's warranty. It's warranty ends in May of 2009 (or 100,000 miles...but I doubt I'll hit that before may).
I plan on using my motorcycle for regular commuting from work and back unless I need to tote my dogs (which is why I need the van). Even if I use the van and not the motorcycle (based off of the 2 and a half years I've had the ford) I will not even hit 10,000 mile in a year...maybe 8,000. Less than that if I use the motorcycle most of the time.
I know Kia's are known for being cheap and the warranty is lack luster as far as the 10 year goes, but if it fits my needs I was looking to get a new Kia Sadona.
What rout should I go for buying a new car? With the knowledge that I won't hit 10,000 miles in the year, would the Kia Sadona fit my needs with out causing major problems down the line? or should I get a different car? I don't want to have to spend a lot a money on a car that I will rarely use...but I don't want to buy a car that will give me hell in such a short amount of time.
Thanx for any help.
