The right front strut broke and is now sticking up thru the suspension support and is pushing on the hood. I'm going to replace the 2 front struts. Should I replace the springs too? Should I replace all 4? The car has 130k miles on it. I thought about getting Monroe Quick Struts for all 4, but it looks like it will cost around $850.

(edited to add)

Does anyone know what the part numbers are for the quick struts? According to Monroe's website they are 271678 - 271681, but other sites say they are 171678 - 171681.

As far as replacing the springs too, it really isn't that much more expensive to replace them if you are going to use the Quick Struts. It's really up to you. You know best the condition of your car. It's also a bit less work, so figure that in.

As far as the Quick Strut part numbers, I would contact Monroe directly and ask them what the correct part numbers are. Is there a "contact us" link on their site with either an email address or an 800 number?

I've only seen Quick Struts offered for the rear applications on the Camry, but you never know. Good luck!

I believe they now make the Quick Struts for both the front and rear. Assuming your car is the 4 cylinder you can use this link to get the proper part numbers:

I checked and stand corrected...the quickies are available for 2000 year front and rear for both 4- and 6-cylinder engines. They just don't offer them for MY Cam, of course. Good luck!
