I took the car for the smog check but failed, I changed the oil, oil filter, gas filter, air filter, spark plugs and gas cap. The car passed 2 of the emissions but the guy told me that the NO (PPM) was a little low and the obdII didn't pass the car because the catalyst Came Not Complete, :disappoin
Oxygen sensor Not Complete, Evaporative Something Not Complete &
Egr Not Complete. What does this means It sound Like alot of money, The car had the Code P0505 Which I erased a week ago with my OBDII reader but no codes had come up since, Where should I start looking I can't think that the Cat, Oxygen Sensor, The evaporative and Egr valve went bad and no code would come up. :banghead: :crying:  :runaround: :disappoin

BTW Read on the internet after I posted the message that erasing codes before the test might affect the outcome of the test because of "drive cycles" and the night before I washed the engine and drove the car and everything was fine but before I went to the test I had a missfire in the number 3 I checked and there was little water inside the spark plug hole, I cleaned & Dried and erase the code to see if would happen again but it didn't. Do you think that was the cause? and if so How long should I drive the car before I go to the smog check again?
