View Full Version : Nismo GTR Z-Tune (My Version) Nismo GTR Z-Tune (My Version) ddtham 10-06-2008, 08:29 PM After a short hiatus (moving into a house, job change, etc), I figured I needed to finish a quick OOB to get back up to speed. I present my version of 1/24 Tamiya GTR Z tune. I painted it with TS-51 and clearcoated with TS-13 straight from cans. Pardon the dust. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e114/ddtham/Nismo%20Z-tune/DSCF0195.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e114/ddtham/Nismo%20Z-tune/DSCF0198.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e114/ddtham/Nismo%20Z-tune/DSCF0203.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e114/ddtham/Nismo%20Z-tune/DSCF0208.jpg I painted the headlight with clear yellow to replicate racecars. I also opened the RH headlight and added a cooling intake. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e114/ddtham/Nismo%20Z-tune/DSCF0213.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e114/ddtham/Nismo%20Z-tune/DSCF0217.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e114/ddtham/Nismo%20Z-tune/DSCF0220.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e114/ddtham/Nismo%20Z-tune/DSCF0223.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e114/ddtham/Nismo%20Z-tune/DSCF0225.jpg Overall I'm very happy with the result. Don't hesitate to give C&Cs and tell me if this quick build is worth it. Thank you for looking! white_R34 10-06-2008, 10:14 PM I like the coloring of the headlight covers and the tail-lights look so real realy out standing work in painting the car, it's a realy clean paint job right down to the Fl-Black Nismo wheels. My hat is off to you man!!!! RJ44 10-06-2008, 11:56 PM Good looking build. I like the colour that you used for it. Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
