it's a '96 with tranny troubles, rough body,half rubber left on tires, over 200,000 miles on a 5.9. guys asking $2500.00 i offered $500.00 that way i would leave myself a grand to put in it .what do you all think?

Thats way high! It's going to cost around that much for a rebuilt tranny.Plus it probably needs a plenum gasket , if it's 4wd all the front suspension parts and hub bearings probably need replacing. And many other items too numerous to mention. Now that I think of it, 500 even sounds high. :-)

i told him$500.00 was stretching a bit.but that was all i was going to give. next time he asks i think i'll drop to $250.00 . thanks
