Weird Cooling Problem

Hi all,
I have a 96 Neon Sport. When you start the car, the cooling fans start immediately. When the car reaches normal running temperature, the fans shut off. Its like a fan switch is working in reverse. But I guess there is not a regular fan switch, but just a temperature sensor that tells the computer the temp, and the computer turns the fans on and off. Is that right? The sensor has three wires? Anyway, if I have this all right, then could anyone tell me which terminals I would have to jumper in the fan relay slot, to get the fans to stay on until I can afford to replace the computer? Or if I'm wrong, any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

The coolent sensor on the engine has two parts one for the gage and one tells the computer the temp.

The guage is working fine. So do you think that the sensor could be causing this problem?

The sensor has three wires the violet & yellow wire to ground works the gage and the other two go to the computer. The sensor or the wiring to the computer could be bad.
