Even Tamiya's screws don't distract from the realistic appearance of you bike. awesome! dmacb 09-25-2008, 09:59 PM A cool, clean build KevHw 09-25-2008, 10:11 PM I've never ever been a fan of chameleon paints as they always seemed to look a bit tacky to me. However, this is probably the best paintjob using that paint I've ever seen, in real life and on models. Absolutely beautiful bodywork and great photography. I understand photographing chameleon paint is very hard but you've done it perfectly and this deserves to be in a magazine somewhere . I want to buy this kit now :banghead: joelwideqvist 09-26-2008, 04:21 AM Looks great. I would have put some effort into weathering those chrome parts and the exhaust but that depends upon how I want to show my bikes. I think you've done a great job with this build! /Joel mrawl 09-28-2008, 07:28 AM That's hot! Great idea very nicely done. redline2112 09-28-2008, 11:32 AM Mihail, uzhe videl, no eshe ne hvalil... SilverMk2 09-29-2008, 05:54 PM Wow, nice work. That's a super clean build. I need to actually build one of my Tamiya bikes one of these days. nomad_fsoak 09-30-2008, 06:07 AM nice & clean :) did that paint come as a spray can, or you used an airbrush ?? Also do you know what code/name that paint has ?? plasari 09-30-2008, 10:22 AM looks killer  awesome job man! ketje 10-02-2008, 04:15 PM Looks great. I would have put some effort into weathering those chrome parts and the exhaust but that depends upon how I want to show my bikes. I think you've done a great job with this build! /Joel I agree, maybe you still could do a little wash on the brakes. Entau 10-03-2008, 07:26 AM the colour is fantastic...it blend so well into the bikes... Martsmodels 10-03-2008, 08:23 AM It's perfect!!! Fantastic photography too!! pawlie 10-03-2008, 07:31 PM Looks excellent, thanks for posting! stratos75 10-04-2008, 06:19 PM nice & clean :) did that paint come as a spray can, or you used an airbrush ?? Also do you know what code/name that paint has ?? I painted this bike some years ago. There was presented to me the rest of this paint after a painting of a real car. The paint was packaged for use of a spray gun or an airbrush. I don't remember its code or name. klutz_100 10-05-2008, 01:30 AM Spectacular look and build  question: Did you put some of the paint over the clear part also? It seems to have a "rainbow" in some shots? stratos75 10-05-2008, 07:56 AM No, it's a film which was in this kit (Yamaha YZF-R1 Taira Racing, Tamiya, Item 14074).
