MidMazar 09-24-2008, 07:23 PM Such a beautiful master piece, hopefully we'll be seeing more from you!! rockinanko 09-24-2008, 07:39 PM yes, another piece of work from the italian master...perfection at its best! metal exhaust, c/f on the mirrors & underwing & outlets aplenty...etc. i especially like the rear tail light piece assembly, realistically real! 73superduty 09-24-2008, 08:55 PM Simply stunning. Great work Alex. I am so very happy to see you at work again. Your builds truly inspire me to do that much more and that much better on my next and forthcoming builds. Thank You! Chris ZoomZoomMX-5 09-24-2008, 09:07 PM Looks fantastic! Nice work, well worth the wait. So what's next, now that you're back at the bench? tonioseven 09-24-2008, 09:27 PM It really is great to see you back to creating these masterpieces!! Truly fantastic work!!! :sunglasse sportracer02 09-25-2008, 01:10 AM Great job - it is an impressive model godfather23 09-25-2008, 02:40 AM Hey Alex, I´m glad for you that you finished this one. Any thoughts why it took so long? I remember you starting this when I did my 360 Challenge Stradale. It really took you a while but it was worth waiting for it. The model is well done, in my eyes the one of the best conversions of the standard 360 into the CS I have seen so far. How did you do the licence plates. These are the cherries on top! Cheers Robert jano11 09-25-2008, 03:03 AM So clean and so precise! Not to mention the details! Stunning! :grinyes: Thesaint111 09-25-2008, 04:20 AM another stunning job, Alex  wouter1981 09-25-2008, 04:48 AM Yellow is such strange colour. Unlike black, some car's don't look good in yellow.. but this one is brilliant. I like it more than the typical red ferraris. jtwisconsin 09-25-2008, 07:02 AM Great job Alex, and I am so glad to see you building again. Another outstanding build that shows us amateurs what can be done and inspires us. :worshippy klutz_100 09-25-2008, 09:38 AM Stunning job Alex  As the old saying goes, "Good things are worth waiting for" :) Tervo 09-25-2008, 01:12 PM Congratulations, once again a very beautiful Ferrari! Thanks to you, I'm again building, after a break of 15 years. It was your homepage, that brought me back. 360spider 09-25-2008, 05:32 PM ... but the rear lights see strange? Not exactly sure what you mean? So what's next, now that you're back at the bench? F40GTE project Bob, I'm actually getting paid for it! I'm already working on it, should have something to show pretty soon. Hey Alex, I´m glad for you that you finished this one. Cheers Robert Several things contributed to the length of this build. First, buying a house and moving, then new job, them birth of my first son, then couple of car accidents w/injuries, then work again... License plates were just done with online plate maker and printed on my printer, cut out and glued to the model. Thank you all! jaykay640 09-25-2008, 05:52 PM Great job as always! Well and clean executed all around. Looking forward to see your next project! ...i still don't like the 360 though. I remember seeing the prototype headlights at the manufacturer before the car came out. First thought was....uuurgh....and it never went away:-) They improved that on the 430... Robi J 09-26-2008, 12:38 PM Stunning. As usual :grinno: Robi gionc 09-26-2008, 03:11 PM Stunning. As usual :grinno: Robi :iagree: rockinanko 09-27-2008, 05:30 AM gee, you've been through some kinda of 'war' master alex...but i'm glad to have you back, really...cos' you're always up to something really really...awe! now that you're back on the bench & preparing to do the F40GTE (MFH kit, i presume?), what happened to the 250GT TDF, master? say, i'm kinda of addicted into the 250's so i'm just curious to know what's the status... cheers, master!:runaround: 360spider 09-27-2008, 09:25 AM ... what happened to the 250GT TDF, master? say, i'm kinda of addicted into the 250's so i'm just curious to know what's the status... cheers, master!:runaround: Its still in the box, sitting on the bench. The body is just so wrong and I don't have a desire to fix it right now. SO nothing is really happening with it. mrawl 09-28-2008, 07:16 AM Beautiful work Alex! That baby must look amazing in person. I think the question of time and effort is a really interesting one. I've been thinking that maybe I could put a lot of effort into some custom works, and not so much for the common stuff. Which probably explains why I have some nice kits sitting around with detail parts, etc, but I'm more excited about grabbing an el-cheapo Revel and tearing into it with a scalpel! Anyway, great to see you back in the seat with a real beauty. nniemi 09-28-2008, 12:02 PM Another great model from you Alex. Hope to see some more soon. -Niko ales 09-28-2008, 03:06 PM Just wow! It was a risky choice to do yellow instead of red, but the way you did it looks good. Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com! Registration is absolutely free. |
