But I love all the little details. Mojo_stevo 09-21-2008, 11:08 PM :dogpile: We def need more Military stuff in here. This is awesome!!! xpeed 09-22-2008, 01:51 AM Old school with new school. I LIKE IT! MidMazar 09-22-2008, 10:46 PM Nice job, weathering is top notch. im surprised the mods didn't scorch this thread yet. I for one think there should be a sub forum for other vehicle types, lots to be learned from military builders! wouter1981 09-23-2008, 02:20 AM Nice job, weathering is top notch. im surprised the mods didn't scorch this thread yet. I for one think there should be a sub forum for other vehicle types, lots to be learned from military builders! I agree. A subforum military makes a lot more sense than muscle cars/hotrod. white_R34 09-23-2008, 01:42 PM Ok first I must say thinks to you all for you outstanding comments. 2nd it's dryed sand not mud caked in the threds. From looking t IDF sites and talking to some friends that live in Israel and serve in the IDF they pointed out to me to do that. For that just runing in the wet sand look that a lot of them have see on mini old MUTTs and now on the Hummvees they use. From time to time I will come back and post some of my Military works if that's ok with you all and maybe if a lot of us keep putting in armor the Tech Guys will get a hint and add a new Military Wip/ Gallery. Hay I must ask have any of you ever tryed using salt on your nonmilitary model to make paint chips, I have used it on a tank for the first time and I like it! I know you want to see what I'm talking about well here's my tank now i'm not done with it yet I have some more detailing to do but here's a sneek-peek. Dry salt stage: http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t248/White_r34/WIPs%20war%20WWII%20to%20Iraq/Munitionsschlepper%20I%20Ausf%20B/000-Small_tank-paintjob-4.jpg Painted stage: http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t248/White_r34/WIPs%20war%20WWII%20to%20Iraq/Munitionsschlepper%20I%20Ausf%20B/000-Small_tank-paintjob-8.jpg http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t248/White_r34/WIPs%20war%20WWII%20to%20Iraq/Munitionsschlepper%20I%20Ausf%20B/000-Small_tank-paintjob-9.jpg So what do you think so far? If any of you wan to see a full setp by step Tut just let me know. MidMazar 09-23-2008, 04:25 PM Yeh, tell us more about the salt. white_R34 09-25-2008, 12:09 PM Ok I would put the method up in here but this is not the place for such a thing so it will be on tha CarModeling page wich is the first link in Automotive Art.
