2001 sts torque converter trouble code

I have a 2001 sts with the service engine light on. I get codes P0741 & P1860. My scanner says it has something to do with the torque converter. Iam I looking at replacing it or is there something else that may be done?

These codes refer to a possible solenoid problem or internal pressure loss. Further diagnsosis should be done by a trans tech using a full function trans scanner, the source of the codes can be pinned down rather than assume it is a convertor and generate a big expense to pull it apart.
