Rear exhaust shield?boostjunkie333 09-16-2008, 07:45 PM Anyone know where I can find one of those carbon fiber things that fit onto the back of your bumper? It seems like Ive seen them called rear exhaust shields... vanilla gorilla 09-16-2008, 11:47 PM Ive also been wanting one. Only seen them for evos and newer cars. I doubt they make them for our old mess. SilvrEclipse 09-17-2008, 12:26 AM Can I get a pic of what yall are talkin about? david-b 09-17-2008, 09:33 AM LandoAWD 09-17-2008, 10:07 AM http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/vendor-announcements/305406-2g-carbon-fiber-exhaust-heat-shield-125-shipped.html Thank you. ;) I swear people forget about Tuners and Talk and just post nonsense here... david-b 09-17-2008, 10:31 AM Thank you. ;) I swear people forget about Tuners and Talk and just post nonsense here... How is asking a legitamate question nonsense? :eek7: Thats exactly what the forum is for. LandoAWD 09-17-2008, 02:33 PM Nonsense, wtf? How is asking a legitamate question nonsense? :eek7: Thats exactly what the forum is for. :uhoh: He got incorrect answers from people (read: you), too. How helpful is that? Is that what the forum is for? Misinformation is bad. david-b 09-17-2008, 02:42 PM Ok guys no more arguing or thread will be locked. O.P. asked the question, people were unsure but not necessarily wrong (the one on Tuners was the first one I've ever seen like that for us), and a link was posted to the appropriate item. LandoAWD 09-17-2008, 02:43 PM Your sandbox, man. I'm done. Blackcrow64 09-17-2008, 03:12 PM Hehe... A sandbox... That just cracks me up. I <3 sandboxes. :) boostjunkie333 09-18-2008, 02:23 AM Thanks guys, didnt know I was going to get someone riled up...sheesh lol But thanks for thepics, but um, that was one that fits ovr the muffler...is there any kind of product that can fit across your rear bumper, sort of like a lip, to keep from actually having to buiy a whole body kit...(im thinking, front lip, side skirts, and something on the back...what do they have out there...? Thanks! david-b 09-18-2008, 09:35 AM Thanks guys, didnt know I was going to get someone riled up...sheesh lol But thanks for thepics, but um, that was one that fits ovr the muffler...is there any kind of product that can fit across your rear bumper, sort of like a lip, to keep from actually having to buiy a whole body kit...(im thinking, front lip, side skirts, and something on the back...what do they have out there...? Thanks! I have seen a lip piece for the back, like something that looks like a front lip, but not in awhile. So side just get stock side skirts if you don't have them already. LandoAWD 09-18-2008, 09:37 AM I suppose you could do the Home Depot Racing lip on the back...can't say I've seen it done anywhere but as a lip spoiler or skirt trim before... boostjunkie333 09-18-2008, 09:25 PM Thanks but no thanks, im pretty sure im sticking with everyone else's intelligent suggestions.:loser: david-b 09-18-2008, 09:29 PM Thanks but no thanks, im pretty sure im sticking with everyone else's intelligent suggestions.:loser: Stop right there! The "Home Depot Lips" look better than a lot of aftermarket lips/bumper kits. Search for it and you'll find what Lando's talking about. It's an idea, something to do if you don't want a rear kit or can't find a lip. Lets not insult any members, especially ones that been here probably longer than you've been able to drive. Thanks vanilla gorilla 09-18-2008, 10:19 PM I dont think anyone makes a full rear lip for the 97-99 bodystyle. But if you have a 95-96,I think Kaminari makes a nice looking rear lip. I found these pics of something a guy added to his. The rear skirt dealios. Supposed to be from a Mitsubishi Mirage bodykit, not sure the year of the car or the style kit. http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/5/web/449000-449999/449940_125.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/5/web/449000-449999/449940_188_full.jpg LandoAWD 09-19-2008, 07:34 AM Lets not insult any members, especially ones that been here probably longer than you've been able to drive. Thanks Don't worry about it. I'll make sure to give appropriate attention to any threads with performance questions he makes. (read: ignore) Thanks, though. :) boostjunkie333 09-20-2008, 12:40 AM Lol, is this guy serious...Keep in mind I only wanted help, and he started with the insult, sorry to have caused any conflict though, on my behalf. Not very becoming of an avid member. In the future, I'll use the quote feature to address the point more direct...wait, already did that. If you need any further help with reading comprehension, how to navigate forum threads, etc, etc, just shoot me a holler. Use PMs as we've been asked to knock it off. You must have missed that part, too. :nono: SilvrEclipse 09-22-2008, 03:04 PM The original question has been answered.
