I am getting ready to buy a mid-late 90's 4x4 truck to tow a bass boat and for hunting. Any specific issues to look for or questions to ask about ford trucks? Any help would be appreciated.

You need to check on the towing capacity for the truck also look for a hitch equipped truck. Some are designed for towing and some aren't. Check for a transmission cooler also. Figure what engine size you will need.
