View Full Version : Nissan Skyline GT-R PGC-10 Nissan Skyline GT-R PGC-10 iceracer1 09-05-2008, 09:29 AM The Fujimi Nissan Skyline GT-R PGC-10. I'll build it OOB with some extra details. http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/inhoud_001~27.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/inhoud_002~27.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/decals.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/inhoud_003~26.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/inhoud_004~24.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/inhoud_005~24.jpg The kit comes with 2 different grilles. I'll use the grille shown on the pics. This grille looks meaner I think. I also will use the original wide RS-Watanabe wheels. I paint the wheels gloss black The colour will be red with some flatblack parts like the spoiler and other small parts. I think it's a nice kit to build even it's so simple and not detailed. Kris. Ferrari TR 09-05-2008, 03:29 PM You've got a bit of a production line going... I know that i've seen some finished, but just how many are still wips? KevHw 09-05-2008, 07:45 PM Lovin the box-art :) astonut 09-05-2008, 09:05 PM You've got a bit of a production line going... I know that i've seen some finished, but just how many are still wips? I cannot agree more, I got a FC RX7 and a Mis Starion in the same series and they are both just sitting there... Personally I think Fujimi makes crap models for this series... I really struggle to want to finish off those two models :( iceracer1 09-06-2008, 01:04 PM You've got a bit of a production line going... I know that i've seen some finished, but just how many are still wips? only the golf 3 vr6 and the 350z :) Normally I have not more than 2 wips but this is a build for a duobuild on a dutch forum. Kris. iceracer1 09-19-2008, 07:15 AM After a time without a computer, I couldn't make any updates. I took some photo's during the build so here's a big update :) First I primed the body, and drilled some holes for a few parts: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_001.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_002.jpg I'll use some other mirrors. These are white metall Engelman sportmirrors from Scaleproduction. http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_003.jpg The wide watanabe wheels had to be gloss black. So I painted them. http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_004.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_005.jpg The grille is modified with a red trim aroud it. Just like the Vw gti's :) http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_006.jpg and a dryfit: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_007.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_008.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_009.jpg I also painted the rollcage yet: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_010.jpg After that I moved on the interior. I used flat red and some different black colors for the seats and doorpanels. Finished them with a chrome trim. The interiorflocking is silver from Hiroboy. http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_011.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_012.jpg The chassis is very simple. I'm not gonna make much work of it, I only removed the exhaust and made a whole new one from metall. After that I also lowered the suspension a bit more and wheaterd the chassis. http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_013.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_014.jpg The body was painted TS-8 Red. http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_016.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_017.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_018.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_019.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_020.jpg added some little decals on the body: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_023.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_024.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_025.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_026.jpg While this was drying I completed the whole interior. http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_027.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_028.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_029.jpg and another dryfit: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_030.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_031.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_032.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_033.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_034.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_035.jpg And after that I clearcoated the body several times: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_036.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_037.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_enzo_038.jpg Meanwhile the body is already polished but I have no pics yet. Kris. KevHw 09-19-2008, 10:48 AM Wow, such a mean looking stance! Such a great look....although something about having a rollcage and carpets bugs me :sly:...dunno what it is but just doesn't look right to me. Not to say you haven't done great work though. iceracer1 09-23-2008, 09:16 AM last week I polished the body. I also placed some detail parts and some are dryfitted for the pictures: http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/polish_001~5.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/polish_002~5.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/polish_003~5.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/polish_004~5.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/polish_005~4.jpg http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/polish_006~2.jpg I hope to complete it this week or next week.
