Anyone know how to rebuild a 1963 chevy impala wiper motor or how I can identify the problem?
Thanks

Specifically what problem are you having with the wipers?

they do not start or stop on demand when switch is activated

Use a test light and inspect the wiring first before condemning the motor.
I think these motors may have 3 wires, one is negative, one is positive only when the switch is on and possibly there may be a third wire, which should be positive only when the ignition is on to provide power to the wiper so the blades can 'park' (go all the way down) when the switch is turned off.
