The pigtail connector for the blower motor resistor needs replacing on my 96 Grand Caravan. Anyone know the Mopar part number or where I can purchase one? I called the local Dodge dealer's parts department and they couldn't find anything on this.

No part# but I've read in couple posts when you order the resistor block ($15) it comes with a pigtail.

I purchased a new resistor from AutoZone , but no pigtail came with it.
Thanks for responding. I'm still hoping someone out there can come up with a p#. The one major thread that has instructions for changing the resistor and pigtail shows that it was a Mopar part, but the pick number on the package didn't bring up anything on-line. The pick no. and the part no. may be different.

On the first page of this thread is a picture of a pigtail and a resistor block lying on a driveway with the packaging next to it. Maybe you can read a part # if you can find a way to blow it up. Scroll down till you start seeing pictures. It's in the middle of those pics.

EDIT - something else you could try is to take the resistor to the dealer, have them get one and see if the pigtail is there.

That's the picture I mentioned in my second post. Contrary to what they show on TV shows, it isn't possible to zoom in on a picture and then make it clear enough to read. And if I could, the question would be, which is the part no. of all the numbers on the package?
At least we are on the "same page." :-)

Yup. Thats why I said blow it up. Neither here nor there but, if you could do that, figuring out which is the part number would be the task of the guy at the parts counter.

Try my second suggestion.
