Both Airbags released after being hit - 96 Altima- how to start the car!walt03 08-29-2008, 10:56 AM I have a 1996 Altima that was involved in a crash . A driver ran into me from behind and pushed me into another car. Both airbags went off during the crash. It has been in my driveway until the insurance settles but I need to move it around. What do I need to check outside of making sure no fuel leaks and fuel pump works ? I haven't tried to start the car but need to know if I need to do anything with the airbags, sensors, etc. to make sure the car will start. I was thinking that the factory wouldn't all allow the car to start until something is done to the airbags, sensors , etc, Need advice Walt walt03 08-31-2008, 07:52 PM I have a 1996 Altima that was involved in a crash .
