i have a 1987 supra with a 7mge and 5 speed. all of a sudden the anit theft alarm went of on me. i got the alarm off but then couldn't start the car. i disconnected the battery and let it sit, cam back and hooked it up then it started fine. how can i disable the system so that won't happen to me again and i won't be stranded until it resets itself. thanks.

If it happens again lock and unlock the door with the key, then you will be able to start the car.
