My repair shop just informed me that the rear coil springs on my 97 Taurus are busted and need replacing in order to pass inspection. I have never done this particular job before and while I am not a great mechanic, by any means, I am willing to try and do the fix myself. I have the springs and access to the spring compressor but a step by step walk through would be helpful. Any willing and knowledgable compadres out there?
