Im getting 8mpg in the city, 11 on the highway. No leaks in the fuel line, or return line. No leaks coming out of the fuel pump. No leaks at the base of the carb. So, it must be something internally with the carb. I just set the timing too. It just started doing this pretty much all at once too.

Any suggestions?

I need to find out where the fuel air mixture screws ARE on this dam carb because ive heard all about adjusting them, but cannot find them. WHERE ARE THEY AT ????

.... Oh yea, it would also help if i told you what car I had. Its an 84 Z28, 305, H engine code.

hello,if its never been adjusted then screws are sealed over.you'll need to remove carb to knock out the caps.they're there same place as others
good luck

if you're familar with adj. the screws are in the same place.at the base of carb to the left & right of center.you can not see them when there sealed over(maybe you can see a dimple)once carb is removed you will get better idea. grind the bottom a little & then with a punch you can knock them out
remember not to turn carb upside down
