I have a 93 Blazer that sometimes will not crank over it will click 1 time and that is all. All gauges lights seem ok, doesn't matter cold/hot. After 4/5 times it will finally crank over fine. Does not do it all the time, sometimes it will go days, then out of the blue it will start doing it again.

Battery tested good, clean terminals and engine ground.
New Coil
Plugs/wires Dist cap and rotor 2 mo old.

Any help would be apreciated.
Thanks

I would look at the starter solinoid or starter. I have seen them get dead spots. Autozone can test the starter. That is a place to start if the battery, cables, etc are good. Also check the ground cable opposite battery make sure it is clean & tight.

As said may be starter solenoid.
But proper testing first.
Check the small purple wire to starter for 12 volts on start position.
If no 12 volts jumper it and see if it starts.
Also check all battery cable ends pos and neg and grounds and connections on starter.
