Doing rear brake job because of rust exploded splash guards, when wife returned from AutoZone with new rotors, min turn 28.5mm (probably for a dual piston system). Don't fit. Now before the wife gets back from work and before I go back out and try to grind the numbers for min. from the old rotor what is the min. rotor thickness for a single piston caliper. The worn old rotor measures 21.5mm thick and the slot in the caliper measures 29.5mm. Now I know someone out there has a quick answer, yes.
Thanks
just wandering in Toledo.

Typical AutoZone, look up parts and are the wrong ones.Try another parts store and take back those rotors. If you still have the old rotors put the new rotor on top if they are the same size.

Thanks guy, the right rotor for a rear with one piston has a 18.5mm Min. lathe thickness. Which means I could have turned my old rotor except it was really gouged bad.
